Rotating between the hospitals of Yorkshire it will cover core topics from the RCoA curriculum, delivered by experts in their field.


East Yorkshire Teaching Programme:
Twice‑monthly sessions alternate between Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, with the option to attend at Castle Hill Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary, or online via Teams. The programme is open to trainees at any level, who are welcome to join or present. Teaching sessions are organised into weekly themes and cover a breadth of both Primary and Final FRCA topics, specialist interest areas, and guideline updates. The sessions are intended to support exam preparation, clinical knowledge, and CPD. For Hull attendees tea/coffee and lunches are provided. In addition to YAIRN regional teaching there are a wealth or courses run throughout the region. Below are a selection organised by specialty area.
Core Trainee Airway Simulation Course in Hull provides hands on simulation experience aimed at stage 1 trainees.
Airway


EPIC 1: Enhanced Preparation for Intensive Care Medicine which runs twice a year: September and February. This is aimed specifically at Stage 1 trainees and covers tracheostomies, vasopressors, inotropes, renal replacement therapy, and commonly encountered conditions (amongst other things!)
ICM & Trauma


Stage 1 Trauma Course - An introduction to trauma as an anaesthetist
MYRAG is an ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia course in Mid Yorkshire. Harrogate Regional Anaesthesia Course (HRAC) is best suited for Stage 1 or 2. There is also Hull Ultrasound Master course (HUM)
